Diane finally got some well needed rest today. last night the lack of sleep for the past week caught up to her, she was exhausted both physically and mentally. Some of the care she has received from a fraction of the nursing staff was questionable. We had a conversation with Dr. Sussman and he informed the floor manager that we had some concerns. We then met with the appropriate people and things where rectified. She was able to rest much better today. We thank the Lord for the much needed rest. Her bowels still have not begun to move. Diane is still not ready for phone calls, she did talk to her children and a couple of other people two days ago but found it stressful to continue at this time. I would be more then happy to answer any questions that have not been addressed on the blog. The blog is updated with the most recent information as time permits. You can either email me at jeffcarnacchi@hotmail.com. The Doctor has given no indication of when Diane will be discharged. Please pray for her bowels to start functioning.
Love always

It is really hard for me not to have my almost daily walk/talk with Diane; however, we will catch up down the road - it is important for her to rest and heal now. Jeff, thank you so much for the daily updates - I really look forward to reading them and following her progress. Please take care of her and yourself and we are all praying for moving bowels and total healing!
Love to you both,
Deb
Hi, Jeff,
We are so glad you are there to be her buffer and advocate and support!
We are praying for the bowels to
start functioning properly and for
her to consistently be able to rest and sleep and gain strength. We are praying for you both that the Lord would strengthen, sustain and give you both peace and health. (and your kids, too)
Thank you for the updates. We know it takes time to write them and we appreciate them so much.
It really helps us feel connected
and pray more specifically.
Remember you are loved!
Jack and Joni
