Happy New Year!
Not the New Year Diane and thought we would have, but a new year it is. The Lord tells us in Matthew 6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own" That is what I need to remember, not to get ahead of myself. When we get ahead of ourselves we are certainly getting ahead of God! I visited with Diane for a short time this morning. She looked very good, her color was good and she was more alert. She is in need of rest! They hope to move her out of post op into surgical ICU sometime today. Diane's blood pressure is slightly low, they are not worried about it, they say it is normal under the circumstances. I will let her rest most of the day, I would like to set with her, however there is no chair where she is at the present time. I will see her later in the afternoon and then once in the evening. I wish everyone a Happy New Year! One that will bring us closer to Christ, and one another.

Good Morning, Jeff.
We're thanking the Lord for His care of Diane during the surgery and during the night. Just remember how much He loves her - and YOU, too. He loves to give good gifts to His children - which you both are. We keep praying - asking and thanking Him for His mercies. We are praying for His continued care and healing. We love you both. Give
her a gentle hug from us when you
can. Remember to rest and take
care of yourself. That's important right now. He is good and we praise Him for His love and care.
Hi Jeff,
Kevin and I are so thankful God has kept a watchful hand on your family. We will continue to pray as obviously the battle is not over. May God continue to give you and your whole family (I imagine this is so hard on the kids as well) the strength you need to emotionally nurse Diane back to health. Please continue to rely on your church family for anything you may need. For those of us who are back home, do not hesitate to call even if the request seems silly. From just the small health battles Kev and I have been through, some of the most seemingly trivial things that people do are so very important and can do wonders for your spirits.
We are praising God for all He has done thus far and will continue to pray.
With much love,
Kevin and Laura Gripp
Jeff, every good gift is from the Lord. We rejoice with you over this initial good news and celebrate every positive step. The Blaylocks remain with you in prayer and look forward to more good reports!
Hi Jeff,
When I talked to Mom yesterday everything she had to say about Dianes progress was good to hear.
Dianes strong foundation in the Lord and physically will see her through this quest as you so eloquintly referred to it as.It sounds like the lodge is a nice place to comfort you and others through these trying times.I'm sure Moms spaghetti and meatballs helped.
Much Love and Many Prayers
Steve&Lisa
